TURNING 30!!! is not a universal Indian story!

Talking to a fellow journalist the director spoke at length about the story line of her debut film TURNING 30, saying that it is not a universal Indian story but a very urban one, and is woven around a tight screenplay. She explained that the problems faced by the female lead protagonist in the film is identifiable and could be faced by any other girls or women residing in big towns and cities. She also disclosed the message that the film conveys which is that people go about everywhere in search of happiness but the real happiness lies within themselves.

The plot of Turning 30 is of course different & it’s true those who are well settled won’t think how anyone who is jobless & single. Growing old can be quite a nightmare, which is why some people prefer lying. Maybe happiness lies within & there is no point to run after happiness & guys. In fact, it’s better if we don’t work hard on such things. But somehow I don’t feel like watching this movie.
