Juhi Chawla Recollects Realities Of Kashmir

Juhi Chawla and Manisha Koirala on the sets of I AM

Sanjay Suri and Onir have worked together on their latest project "I Am". The movie will be out in theatres on April 22nd,2011. The film is about 4 stories woven together focusing on issues that affect the modern Indian society. Juhi Chawla and Manisha Koirala will be seen sharing screen space in the movie.

In "I Am" we will see Juhi Chawla as a Kashmiri pandit - Megha who was forced to flee her home in Kashmir and come back after two decades only to find her Muslim friend - Manisha Koirala is not living an amazing life even today.

Juhi Chawla reflected that working in Kashmir for the role of Megha reminded her of so many harsh realities. She recalled the security issues in Kashmir; how the local pandits' homes were lit up in the 80's and the fear with which the locals lived.

Recalling all that made Megha's character so real for Juhi. She also said that since she is the mother of two kids, she realized how blessed they were to have freedom of choice and movement.

Well, I think it will be a good movie since both Juhi and Manisha are good actresses. The storyline seems to be quite realistic in itself.
