Dirty Pictures Theatrical Trailer

Silk Smitha puts me off  from the day I first read about this project but Dirty Pictures - a movie on Smitha's life is releasing soon and I thought it would be better to share its theatrical trailer. Being a production of Ekta Kapoor, two things were inevitable 1. Her brother Tushar Kapoor is pretty much a part of the cast in this home production as well and 2. The movie is revolving around sex and lust (specialty of Ekta Kapoor's production house keeping in mind the useless porn movie Raginni MMS she made.)

Anyhow, a movie on Silk Smith could not be made without sex and lust. The cast is superb. Vidya Balan must have acted well but most of her fans are questioning her choice of doing a dirty movie in the first place since she is already doing so well. Naseeruddin Shah looks a bit old even with the dyed hair. My favorite is Emraan Hashmi of the lot.

Vidya Balan's Bath Tub Scene In Dirty Pictures

Vidya Balan is busy working in Ekta Kapoor's Dirty Pictures in which she will play the oddly dirty Silk Smitha.

The latest news on Vidya is that she had to do a scene for Dirty Pictures in which she had to step into a bath tub filled with soapy water wrapped in a towel. However, as she entered into the tub her skin felt itchy. In fact, the itchiness developed into a red rash quickly and spread all over her body.

Sadly, the shoot for the day was cancelled as Vidya suffered from an allergic reaction as she was sent to the hospital for treatment immediately. She is recovering.

I saw Ekta Kapoor's Raginni MMS recently, which was a terrible copy of Paranormal Activity. It was more like a porn movie and was indeed quite dirty. Dirty Pictures has an entire plot of dirty slutty stuff but with well known actors. I am not sure if this is something I am too fond of watching but if I'll get to see it by chance then I'd write a review on it.

Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah had an impressive on screen chemistry in Inshqiya. Now they are coming together in Dirty Pictures once again. Dirty Pictures is the story about the real life of Silk Smitha's, which was quite colorful as well. It has been said the lady had multiple lovers. Naseeruddin Shah will play the role of one of Smitha's lovers who was particularly close to her.

Word is that Vidya and Naseeruddin Shah will share two intimate love scenes in  Dirty Pictures. It is not decided if there will be any lip locking but Vidya and the director are both clear on one thing that the scene has to be done aesthetically well.

Though, over all the movie is the journey of Silk Smitha's life, her encounters with the different men in her life and of course how she dealt with things emotionally.

Vidya's not baring all

Vidya Balan has not agreed to expose for a painting for acclaimed artist M F Husain, says a close friend of the actress.

"The story is fabricated to damage her reputation and it hasn't gone down well with Vidya who has always maintained a dignified stance both in her personal and professional life," said the friend.

M. F. Husain changes his Muse as often as we change our clothes. Few days ago, the face of Anushka Sharma was driving him nuts. Earlier on it was Tabu & Madhuri. As of now, it’s Vidya. Her persona especially her face has been the source of his inspiration. He finds her face very sensual & cultured.

But Vidya, who will feature in Ekta Kapoor's 'Dirty Pictures', has always maintained she would take up projects only with an aesthetic sense.

So, if you have raised your hopes too high, it’s time to shatter them, cause Vidya Balan is not taking you on a ride. Most probably you have to go solo.
