Bollywood Celebs Paid Their Respect To Navin Nischol On Twitter

Though Bollywood is saddened by the recent death of Navin Nischol, a few celebrities expressed their sorrow and respect for the late actor on Twitter.

Navin Nischol was a good man. Aloof but helpful. We shared some nice moments during 'Khosla ka Ghosla'. Sad he is no more. RIP," veteran star Anupam Kher posted.

Former beauty queen-turned-actress Diya Mirza, who shared screen space with Nischol once, wrote: "Actor Navin Nischol played my father in 'Rehna Hain Tere Dil Mein'... Saddened by the news of his demise... RIP."

"Very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Navin Nischol. may his soul rest in peace. he will be missed (sic)," posted Abhishek Bachchan.

National award winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar wrote: "Sad to hear about the demise of Navin Nischol. Very good actor & a gr8 human being. The industry will miss him. May his soul rest in peace."

Actor Ashish Chowdhry said: "Mum had the biggest crush ever on Navin Nischol. Dad and her had the cutest quarrels over it. We'll all miss him so much. Bless his handsome soul."

Who does not remember this gora villain of Hindi cinema? Bob Christo is sadly no more. His real name was Robert John Christo but he was known as Bob Christo. His origins were from Australia.

Bob died on Sunday due to a rupture of the left ventricle free valve.

He was in his 70's at the time of his death. He was an engineer but preferred acting. He began his acting career in the 1970s and worked with great many actors in over 200 movies in this time. He was seen as a villain in films like Qurbani, Kaalia, Mr. India, Gumrah and many more.

In the USA he worked as a visiting professor at premier business schools and later on in his life he became a Yoga instructor in Bangalore.

RIP Bob Christo. Indian cinema will surely miss you!

RIP Navin Nischol

Navin Nischol, a famous movie and television actor is no more. He was equally popular in the movies and on the small screen with programs like "Dekh Bhai Dekh" to his credit.

Navin was 65 years old. He started acting in 1970. He has worked in movies like Buddha Mil Gaya, The Burning Train, Victoria No. 203 and Khosla Ka Ghosla. He was also seen in Break Ke Baad recently.

Well it is definitely sad news that old people in the industry are dying so quickly. He was a good actor and has worked in many films. Our prayers are with his family. RIP Navin Nischol!
