Anupam Kher has turned 56 years old today. He revealed that he never plans for his birthdays because each day is new and special for him.
"I don't plan anything for my birthday because I believe in celebrating life rather than just a single day. I believe that each day is a new day and a special day so why just single out one singe day?" Anupam said.
Anupam Kher made his acting debut in 1982 but got critical acclaim for his performance in Saaransh in 1984. He has done more than 400 films in the three decades that he spent in the film fraternity. He has worked in films like Karma, Ram Lakhan, Lamhe, Saudagar, DDLJ, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Mara and many others. He has won the Padma Shri award also.
He directed Om Jai Jagdish in 2003 and runs his acting school in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and Britain.
Anupam Kher is definitely a great actor who has given a lot of memorable performances throughout the years. My particular favorite is his positive and high spirited character of Lamhe though he has done many other great roles too.
