What a beautiful song! I like the entire song. It's kind of tough on me to choose my favouite lines.


But one thing's for sure - now we don't get these two things together:

I don't think I'm wrong about it :P


And I would very much like to experience this:


Barti jaye yeh bataabi jitna karoon nazaara


It's impossible to see anything of the sort. Can we say Anil Kapoor had been very lucky? No, I think Dimple was lucky. And thank God she doesn't look that awful in this song! Uff I hate those cheap shades of lipstick she's wearing in the entire movie. When I was young, I really liked the character of Anil Kapoor. And how could I forget - We were not supposed to watch Jaanbaz but we all did...that was the fun part.

Hum Na Samjhe The - Gardish

Gardish is one movie that every serious cine lover should/must watch. With an awesome cast, which included actors like Jackie Sheroff, Amrish Puri and Dimple Kapadia in it - this movie really touches the heart and soul.

Showing the intensity of human bonds, family ties, aspirations and broken dreams led by uncalled for circumstances, Gardish has nothing wrong about it. You tend to ignore Jackie's old age as well because the over all movie is so true to life.

Hum Na Samjhe The, sung by Bala Subrahmanyam is the essence of this movie. Beautifully sung and has some extremely deep lyrics relating to life. 

Har Kisi Ko Nahi Milta - Janbaaz (1986)

Last night I saw a bit of Jaanbaz (1986) for the zillionth time. Even today, at least I find the movie quite entertaining. It dealt with a serious issue of drugs/cocaine at a very early time and executed the idea in a more than perfect way. The depth and detailing of the characters was quite impressive and natural. I give full points to Feroz Khan for making a highly entertaining flick so long ago.

If somebody likes to review classics, one can't miss out on Jaanbaz, which has story, sex, songs and much more in the right quantity. The only thing that disturbs me are the changing hairstyles of Dimple Kapadia throughout the movie when she looked all good with the longer, natural hairstyle of hers. Secondly, she just looked far too experienced and slutty in comparison to Anil Kapoor (who was the notorious son of a rich man). I particularly enjoyed watching Amrish Puri in this movie. He and Anil Kapoor shared a very strong chemistry as father and son in Jaanbaz.

Anyway, enjoy this song, which is quite intense and beautiful. A lot of people who have not experienced true love or have been unlucky when it comes to romance might find the lyrics quite deep.

Saas & Damaad To Work In Patiala House

Akshay Kumar's first release in 2011 will be Patiala House with Anushka Sharma opposite him. The interesting thing is that Akshay will be working with his saasu jee Dimple Kapadia also in this movie. Another interesting fact is that Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia will act together also once again after some time.

Patiala House is the story of a Sikh joint family. Four generations of the Kahlon family live together, in a suburban house in London. When one first hears about this movie you connect Akshay Kumar and a large family of Sikhs living under one roof.

Patiala means big (often used to signify Patiala peg by whiskey drinkers.) In our case it signifies a fourth generation Sikh household in Southall, London, UK. A house with 22 members both young and old ruled by an autocratic and big headed Gurtej Singh Kahlon (Rishi Kapoor.) A house where the disparity in thought between the younger and older generation has reached a simmering boiling point and mutiny, rebellion is round the corner. How a 34-year-old ex cricketer who has been forced to sacrifice his dreams for his fathers ideals is given a second chance to see it getting fulfilled.

Says Director Nikhil Advani, "The essence of Patiala House is pursuing your dream when life gives you a second chance. In this pursuit, Akshay happens to be a cricketer, but he could've been a musician or a poet. It can be your story or mine. Patiala House is the story of the Kahlon family, and their travails."

Patiala House releases on the 11th of February.
