Chal Mere Bhai - Naseeb

There are three reasons why I've posted this song from the film Naseeb.

1. The voice of Rafi - It's impossible for me to ignore it.
2. The expressions of Amitabh - They are just too good. How he makes faces when nobody gives him a ride is totally mind-blowing. Besides Rafi, he's the other singer.
3. Rishi Kapoor looks too cute.

Over all I think it's a cute, fun song. I saw Naseeb long time ago. Naturally I am not in the position to comment on it.

Dekha Na Haaye Re Socha Na – Bombay To Goa

One of my favorite tracks! I love how Amitabh is dancing. He looks so cute. And I must say that Aruna Irani was a good-looking woman & she acted well. In spite of that, I guess this is the only film in which I've seen her as a heroine. Or maybe there's one more. I'm a little confused.

Bombay to Goa is a must watch. Every time I see it, it's fun. This was released in 1972 & the music was done by R.D. Burman. In fact, this film is known for its catchy tunes even to this day. Every character in the movie was fun. You could see in this specific song.

It's a remake of a hit Tamil film Madras to Pondicherry.

Whenever I listen to this song, I feel as if I'm trying to rescue someone. Every time there's someone or the other :P

Kya baat hai! 'Dekha na haaye re socha na haaye re rakh di nashaane pay jaan
Kadamo mein tere nikle mera dam hai bas yehi armaan.'

Even these lines are superb: ' Ghar say nikale hum kha kay qasam chhoray gay pichhaa na hum,
Sar pay kafan baadhe hue aaya dewaana yahan.'

Eik Rasta Hai Zindagi Jo Tham Gaye Tou Kuch Nahin – Kala Patthar

I'm madly in love with this song. It has been sung by Kishore Kumar & Lata.

Well Kala Patthar was released in 1979. It has been inspired by Chasnala mine disaster but the main plot is very similar to that of the novel Lord Jim by Joseph Conrad. But I can assure you the movie is not at all boring & a drag like Lord Jim. And all the students of Literature are supposed to read this unreadable novel even though it's not in the curriculum. It's compulsory to know certain books.

Anyhow, the movie just did average at the box office. Although it was nominated for a couple of awards, but it failed to win any. The cast was pretty huge & good. They all acted well. I would say it's a must watch, if you haven't seen it.

It's really funny when Shatrughan Sinha while playing cards says 'teesray badshah hum hain' & picks up all the money & leaves.

Coming back to the song, Shashi Kapoor looks so very cute. I think he is one the most cutest things on this planet. Actually today I woke up & I was thinking about this song.

And yeah I have been trying to explain this all my life:P

'Woh husn kay jalway hon yeh ishq ki awaazen
Azad parindon ki rukti nahin parvaazen.'

But people just don't seem to get it. Some people are like birds & they can't help it.

And I loved it even more when he says: 'Bhari rahay gi rahahguzar, jo hum gaye tou kuch nahin!'

I also liked these lines:

'Jaatay huay rahi kay saaye se simatana kya
Eik pal kay musafir kay daman say lipatana kya.'

But the important thing is: Jo hum gaye tou kuch nahin :P

I think if you want to live your life to the fullest, then this is how it ought to be:
'Eik rasta hai zindagi, jo tham gaye tou kuch nahin
Ye qadam kisi muqaam pay jo tham gaye tou kuch nahin.'

Anyhow I hope you enjoy the song.

Shatrughan Sinha To Host Bhojpuri KBC

Shatrughan Sinha is going to host the Bhojpuri version of Kaun Banega Crorepati on the Bhojpuri channel.

He was chosen by the channel because he has a powerful personality and a strong command over the language.

Not just that, Sinha ji has also signed up for the next season of the show already. The Bhojpuri version of KBC will be aired from May 30. Big B's KBC will start somewhere around October.

I would prefer watching Shatru ji any given day over his daughter!

Police order Shatrughan Sinha's arrest

Bihar's Bettiah district police have ordered the arrest of actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha for violating the model code of conduct in the October-November 2010 assembly polls.

An FIR was lodged against Sinha last year for landing his helicopter without permission at Belwa Bahuari village under Gaunaha to campaign for the BJP candidate Bhagirathi Devi. He also addressed a public meeting.

Now this is some news. The Police force is doing pretty good job lately. Yesterday it was Yamuna jee & today they are looking for Sinha jee. He couldn’t have faced any difficulty in acquiring permit of any kind I suppose. Anyhow Bettiah Superintendent of Police Nishant Kumar Tiwarri on 22^nd January ordered Shatrughan’s arrest after an inquiry found him guilty. This is what I like about India – when they find anyone (including not just common people but also hot shots) guilty, they take some kind of action.

Btw, Shatrughan Sinha is a Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Patna Sahib constituency.
