I really don't need to say much about Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. I was a student at that time, so it seems like centuries have passed.

Anyhow, I basically like sad songs, cause they are close to reality. And sad songs say sad things in a very poetic way. And this is the only kind of peotry I can admire as I can't read Urdu unless it's written in Roman.

Well I totally agree with the woman that ishq kisi ko aise na tarpaye, dil ki baat rahe is dil mein hothon tak na aaye. But even if you have expressed your feelings, believe me witnessing marriage of someone you like is a never a nice experience.

However, this main line 'tujhay yaad na meri ayi kisi se ab kya kehna' wakes up the person. This is reality. That particular person didn't even think about you while taking that decision. It means you were never important.

Sathiya Ye Tune Kya Kiya - Love

This movie was released when I was in 1st year & God, we loved this song, but we couldn't help finding faults in the movie, especially how the heroine survives in the end or how she becomes alive after dying :P

Salman Khan has changed so much over the years, but he looked so damn beautiful in his 30s.

Anyhow, I can't say it brings back old memories, but this has been one beautiful song...even though the voice of male playback singer is not that great. Nearly all the playback singers of Salman Khan in his early days were bad.

Aisa Pehli Baar Hua Hai – Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega

I don't like the video as such, but you all know how much I love Salman Khan, but it's the voice of Sonu Nigam in the song that's utterly cool.

Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega was released in 2000 & it was inspired by While You Were Sleeping. The film was fine & it did average business.

Well it never occurred to me that a point comes in your life when you can say it again: 'Aisa pehli bar hua hai satra athra saalon mein koi aaye jayee mere khayalon mein.' And you know it could be really happening for the 1st time.

Even this line is nice & it can be situational for too many folks out there right now: 'Mera naam likh do tum ab pagal dilwalon mein.'
And yeah Sonu Nigam rocks! He too just like Rafi has a sweet, soft voice.

Angela Jonson is the new girl

It has been reported that Salman Khan has signed an exclusive deal with Angela Jonson. I’m sure most of you will remember she’s the Kingfisher calendar model & now she will star not just in Sher Khan but she will be seen in the sequel of Partner & also in the remake of Amar Akbar Anthony. Yeah this is indeed quite an exclusive deal!

Btw, all the three brothers Salman, Arbaaz & Sohail will feature in Amar Akbar Anthony. I really do not like the sound of it. I’m a huge fan of Salman Khan but I think he’s too old to play Amar, Akbar or Anthony. Moreover, Arbaaz & Sohail are too mediocre as compared to Amitabh, Rishi Kapoor & Vinod Khanna.

Moreover a little bird has been telling the media people something like this, "Angela's career in Bollywood wasn't taking off. But Salman and Sohail saw her potential and offered her an exclusive contract before she made the wrong career moves. Now she will be eligible for all of Salman's home productions, though they don't necessarily have to sign her for every film they make."

Confirming this, Sohail Khan says, "Yes she has signed an exclusive contract with us. But we haven't decided which film or films she will be doing. We think she has great potential. We will launch her."

So this is the story. The girl has the potential & let’s see if she can act or not but yes she has the potential & well wishers never want you to make the wrong move. But it would have been so much better if they cast younger lot for Amar Akbar Anthony. This sounds like a disaster in the making. We still have guys like Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan, Abhishek, Neil Nitin Mukesh...even Vivek is not bad :P After all, they are all young & they might do justice. But then I forget this is a home production. My mistake!

Salman Khan Gifts Raj Babbar A Luxury Car

Salman Khan, who is known for surprising his friends and colleagues with his kindness often, did something on the same lines recently. Apparently, the man is not just kind towards female stars or kids but also towards senior citizens and old actors.

So the story goes something like this that Salman Khan asked Raj Babbar for a favor to act as Kareena Kapoor's father in Bodyguard at the eleventh hour because Shatrughan Sinha who was earlier supposed to play the role had to quit due to date issues. Shatrughan ji was facing clashing dates for Bodyguard and his TV show - the Bhojpuri version of Kaun Banega Crorepati and so he gave up his role in Bodyguard.

Raj Babbar accepted the offer but refused to accept any payment from Salman for his role. However, Salman gave Raj Babbar ji a big surprise on the last day of his shoot for the film by gifting him a high end four wheeler.

It is said, Raj Babbar was shocked and so moved by the gesture that he was in tears.

Well, it is these very things that make Salman Khan so different from the rest of the actors. He may have some negative qualities but his heart is really genuine. He does show these gestures often even when he is getting nothing in return from such acts. I have not heard of Aamir Khan or SRK or the Bachchans for that matter do anything of this sort out of respect for senior actors.

It is these acts of Salman Khan that make his fans fall in love with him all over again.

Salman Khan Congratulates Abhi-Aish On Their Pregnancy

Salman Khan is not only a superstar but he unexpectedly does amazing acts and shocks most people.

He recently congratulated Aishwarya and Abhishek on their pregnancy at a Blackberry application launch event.

"I would like to congratulate Abhishek and Aishwarya. I hope they make a cricket team,"

"I am happy for the Dadaji (Amitabh). "

The star is genuine about the things he does. I observed that although he and Aish had a bad end to their relationship but Salman has been chill for a very long time...although Aishwarya often gets uncomfortable in his presence and avoids him till this day. She has not forgiven him for all that happened between the two.

Anyway, good going Salman! It was sweet to pass congratulatory comments on this happy occasion.

Katrina Kaif To Throw A Grand Birthday Bash This Year

Katrina Kaif is planning to host a grand birthday party for all the Bollywood celebrities and important personalities on 16th of July this year. Although, one can hardly forget her infamous 2008 birthday party, which was also attended by all the biggies of B-town. However, the limelight of that birthday bash was the open fight between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan witnessed by many guests who were present at that time.

It was such a bad fight that the two superstars have not become friends till this day. Besides, Katrina stopped organizing any parties for the past three years after the unpleasant incident.

Things have changed now. Katrina's social circle has enhanced and she has to make sure that all the right people are given due importance. Also, now that she is evidently out of a relationship with Salman Khan, she is set to do things that suit her career most.

Thus, this year Katrina will organize a big party on 16th July and will also celebrate the release of her new movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara on the same day. She will invite all the Bollywood celebrities and VIPs to her party. She does fear that her party might be used to settle scores by some Bollywood stars. But for that, we will have to wait and watch this space.

Sohail Khan Blessed With A Baby Boy

After loads of success of Dabangg and Ready, the Khan family has another reason to celebrate.

Sohail Khan's wife, Seema, who is also a fashion designer gave birth to their second child on Thursday. The mother and baby boy are both doing fine.

They have not named their son as yet but have shortlisted a few names. Their elder son is named Nirvaan.

Many of their close friends and relatives were surprised to hear the good news because Seema is a very private person and was not seen at any event for the past few months. Thus, only a few were aware of her pregnancy.

Anyway, we wish Sohail and his family lots of happiness on the birth of his second child.

Salman Khan's Sher Khan Might Be In 3D

It is Salman Khan's era like never before. The actor has come to a stage where he has become cooler, calmer and hunkier than ever before. Fortunately, all of this is accompanied by super duper hit flicks as well.

His stardom and success is making everyone anticipate more from the future. It is being said that his next film with brother Sohail Khan titled 'Sher Khan' could be in 3D. It is an adventure flick set in a rugged forest and Sohail apparently has planned for amazing special effects. All of this is leading to positive signs that the new movie will be out in 3D.

I am not too sure if Salman Khan did care about Shahrukh Khan in all this while but the media as usual is trying to make an uncanny and mean connection once again. This time, they are talking that perhaps the reason why Salman Khan's 'Sher Khan' will be in 3D is to compete against SRK's 'Ra.One'.

It is true that Shahrukh has been promoting 'Ra.One' as the mother of all sci-fi movies with the most awesome special effects with the focus on Dolby 7.1 time and again. But all of this does not mean that Salman Khan and his brother are taking measures to out do SRK.

As much as I have seen over the years, Salman Khan does not really give a damn about these things. He only ensures that his projects are completed well and that they turn out as success. It is only recently, that he is getting lots of positive attention but earlier he has seen many flops as well despite his super stardom status. While SRK, does have a reputation of taking head on fights against others in a nasty and clever manner to be more successful at the box office but that is not really Salman Khan's style.

Why Is Salman Khan The Real Superstar?

Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars of India. Interesting thing is that his popularity is increasing with each passing year. The time has come that media who once criticized Salman for his anger and unpredictable stunts now expect other actors and actresses to take cues from Salman Khan on dealing with stardom.

Salman and Katrina To Be Seen In Yash Raj’s Next Project

Salman Khan will be working with Yash Raj Films for the first time in all these years. This is a confirmed news announced by Aditya Chopra himself.

Salman Khan will be seen working in a romantic thriller under the YRF banner called ‘Ek Tha Tiger', which will be directed by Kabir Khan who has given hits like New York earlier. More over they have also decided that Katrina Kaif will be starring opposite Salman Khan in the project, which will go into production in July 2011 and will be released in mid 2012.

Both Aditya and Salman are equally happy to be working together for the first time. Though many earlier attempts were made too but the script of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ turned the tables. According to Aditya, Salman has matured over the years while Katrina-Salman couple has a strong connect with the audiences.

All in all, with a good script and beautiful actors they have an edgy director in Kabir who is also a part of this project. YRF has worked with Salman’s father, Salim Khan in amazing hits like Deewar, Trishul and Kala Patthar and thus it is a happy reunion of the younger generations with lots of expectations from this new project.

Salman Khan To Work In Karan Johar's Next Venture?

Although it has been a good few years that Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan's cold war has not ended and we are all aware that Karan Johar is buddies with SRK for the longest time now but the latest grapevine suggests things are changing.

At the end of the day, movies are also business and everybody thinks about their own benefit. It is heard that Karan Johar is very much interested in casting Salman Khan in his next production. Obviously, SRK might not like it but the rumors are pretty strong.

Karan has approached Salman Khan for a fantasy action movie. It is going to be under the banner of Dharma Productions and will be directed by Rensil D'Silva who also made Kurbaan.

It all began when Karan asked Salman to come as a guest on his talk show but Salman asked him to give a remuneration as a token of donation for his charity. Now Karan never pays his guests but he thought of offering Salman a film instead. Looking at the way Salman's career graph is going, K Jo perhaps made a right move.

This movie is on the lines of Ocean's Eleven and both Karan and Rensil felt that Salman would bn the the best man for this role. Apparently, Karan loved the script in the first go. Last time, Salman and Karan worked together was in 1998 for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and the movie worked for both of them.

Thus, it has been a long time and Karan feels that it is the right time to invest in a project with Salman under his own banner. Well nothing succeeds like success even if SRK would not be liking it much, the fact remains that Salman Khan is a hot property these days. Even SRK's best friend would take all steps to make more money rather than keep his friends happy.

High Expectations From Salman Khan's "READY"

Salman Khan is breaking all the records with his super duper hit movies and thus is setting higher expectations for filmmakers and fans alike.

As per the latest figures, Dabangg did not just break the opening weekend record of 3 Idiots but also turned out to be the second highest grosser in the history of Hindi cinema by crossing the 140 crores net mark.

It is being predicted that Salman Khan's Ready might just be another blockbuster that would at least reach the 100 crores mark.

Well, we wish him all the best. I watched his much talked about song from Ready with Zarine Khan - 'Character Dheela Hai' and I really liked it so there is a feeler the movie might just meet the expectations.

Salman Khan And Nargis Fakhri Might Be Seen Together Soon

Rumors around the industry are suggesting that Nargis Fakhri might just be the new girl to pair up with Salman Khan in his brother Sohail's next movie.

Sohail Khan's next venture is called 'Sher Khan'. He wants to have a very new face in the movie and it is heard that both the brothers are keen on getting the 'Rockstar' leading lady - Nargis Fakhri because she is sizzling hot and quite a new face in the industry.

Many other actresses gave the two brothers lots of feeler that they are keen to work in this venture with the Khans but they have most probably zeroed down on Nargis Fakhri. We will have to wait for the confirmed official news though.

Well, if this is really going to happen, it is quite possible that Salman and Nargis jodi might really be considered quite a HOT pair in the future.

Salman Khan Camouglages In The Crowd

Salman Khan can do really strange things although he is a superstar. Recently, for a scene in his film Bodyguard he went to Flora Fountain in Mumbai on a busy, crowded afternoon and shot a scene in the middle of huge crowd but without getting noticed.

Yes, it is all true. He absolutely camouflaged himself into the crowds. The scene was hardly a 30 second shot in which Salman had to walk behind a woman, as her bodyguard, just like any real bodyguard does.

The crew was worried because Salman is a superstar, the place was crowded and they could not involve too much of security otherwise the scene would not have looked natural. Anyhow, they installed hidden cameras on top of the buildings, in and around the area where the scene was to be shot and had no unit members on the ground. They didn't want any attention.

Salman Khan, merged in the crowd perfectly well like a real bodyguard and the scene was okayed in the first go. It is being said, that Salman is totally into the character of a bodyguard. His language and mannerisms are totally like a genuine bodyguard. With so much talk going on, people can hardly wait to see Salman in this new avatar.

Salman Khan To Open Chain Of Eateries

The newest buzz about Salman Khan is that he is going to launch a chain of eateries and most probably it will be named 'Being Human Cafe'. The first cafe will open in Bandra close to Salman's residence.

Just as the name suggests, the revenue from the cafe will be used for his Being Human charity.

As for the menu, some of it will include Salman's favorite dishes. Besides, it is heard that he will personally supervise the menu.

He will first concentrate on the Mumbai cafe and then expand the chain in other cities.

I am totally impressed. The man is absolutely dedicated! Amongst so many superstars, he is really going out to make his charity do wonders for India.

Weird Love Triangle:Salman-Katrina-Ranbir

Now this is the weirdest love triangle I know - Salman Khan - Katrina Kaif- Ranbir Kapoor. Except for Salman, the other two are always denying things. Salman is ever crazy and protective about Katrina who always uses him and then acts like a bitch. She in turn is crazy after Ranbir, who uses her for fun but doesn't really want to be associated with her also at the same time.

This time, Salman Khan is angry with Ranbir Kapoor because of certain comments he passed about Katrina in his recent interviews to a TV channel.

Ranbir said in his interview that he never really dated Katrina Kaif ever as the media has always mentioned. (Yeah they just spend some nights together but they were never in a relationship.)

Salman Khan, is not happy with this statement. He is still very protective about his ex-girlfriend and cannot see her upset. He has asked his top producer buddies not to sign Ranbir anymore.

Now if he really did this - it is quite ridiculous and personal. Katrina would still give no shit about Salman. While, the Kapoors will just be upset with Salman Khan - though he hardly cares about anything or anyone it seems. And just to recall, just a few days ago I reported another story where Salman asked his buddy producers to maintain their distance from Katrina because he doesn't want to work with her in any more projects. There is something missing everywhere or perhaps the real truth is just not out there.

Salman Khan Refused To Do Hot Physical Scenes With Sonakshi Sinha

Salman Khan will be acting opposite Sonakshi Sinha once again in the Telugu remake of 'Kick'. The Telegu version had Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz together and the two shared quite intense and hot romantic scenes on the screen.

Now Salman Khan is not at all ready to have any intimate scenes with Sonakshi Sinha about whom he is quite protective. He literally treats her like a kid since she is some 22 years his junior.

This is why, Salman has refused to do any such scenes with Sonakshi in Kick. This was also the reason why we didn't see a lot of physical romance in Dabangg also.

Thus, for Kick they will opt for a nice romantic track to compensate. It is said that Rajat Arora who wrote the romantic track for 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai' might re-write the scenes and romantic track for the Hindi version of Kick because Salman was quite impressed by his work in OUATIM.

Wow 22 years of age difference...it doesn't show! She looks just fine with him I guess apparently.
