Manisha Koirala To Play The Role Of Sex Worker

It is true that good actors will never have to look hard to find roles. They just get them. Already Manisha Koirala is working in several projects, one of the most awaited ones is 'I AM' but now she has also signed up Deepti Naval's latest project titled 'Do Paise Ki Dhoop Char Aane Ki Baarish'.

Manisha will play the role of a sex worker named Juhi who has a handicapped son. One night, she meets a struggling gay lyricist and there is an emotional bond between Manisha, her son and the gay lyricist.

Interesting thing is that the movie is based on the real life story of sex worker. Deepti Naval heard her story through one of her friends and thought to make it into a movie.

In this role Manisha will look like an ordinary woman who is struggling for her life. She will wear dark colored saris, apply dark red lipstick, keep her hair open and look like a real struggler. They want to keep things as close to reality as possible.

Manisha was pleased to know that she will portray the role of a real person and therefore will take it as a challenge to perform her best yet again.

Frankly speaking, in spite of her huge, depressing body and her sick interviews in the good old days (like the second pic here) I have always found her to be a good actress with a pretty face. She never failed to impress me with her serious roles.

I really find the title of the movie very deep 'Do Paise Ki Dhoon Char Aane Ki Baarish'. Shows the real worth of life...

Ram Gopal To Cast Kangna & Abhishek Together

Ram Gopal Varma was quite impressed to see Kangna Ranaut's amazing performances in movies like Gangster and Woh Lamhe. He always wanted to cast her in his movie but in a meaningful and important role.

So, it has been confirmed that Kangna will work in Ram Gopal's next dark action drama - 'Department'. He will cast her opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Yes, they were already working together, though not as a couple in GAME but this time round Kangna will play the role of Abhishek's wife.

Department is a story about three cops who want to do extra constitutional activities to maintain the safety of the society. Hmmm, this doesn't sound like such a new idea.

Anyway, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek are the three cops. Kangna is the only lady in the movie and her role is intense and significant in the sense that she is the only person with whom Abhishek will be able to talk about his agony.

I always knew Kangna Ranaut's time will come and it seems that it has arrived now with all the biggies casting her in their projects!

Sonakshi’s twitpic angered her Pakistani fans

It’s just occurred to me that Sonakshi jee is not just fat, but she’s like any dysfunctional person who goes mad after watching cricket. And she takes victory even more badly than how our nation has taken defeat.

Anyhow, this twitpic showed Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi getting whacked on his butt by an Indian batsman Shewag, and Sonakshi added the caption ‘De ghumaaaaake! Hehehehahahaha.’

I like the way she laughs :P hehehehahaha It’s really hilarious, so to speak.

Naturally her Pakistani fans couldn’t stand this image. She got zillions of hate replies from her fans who started un-following her. They do find this image quite insulting. Moreover, there was no need to publish an unethical picture on her twitter. Maybe it’s her sense of humor. I’m shocked that her Pakistani fans were not aware of it.

One message read: “u shouldnt be doing dis, ur father never did dis kind of thing, not even sallu bhai, learn something from them.” Another message said: “Sonakshi just because of this cheap act of yours . . . I am unfollowing you.” Some even said that Sonakshi doesn’t have any class. Good to know that they know it now.

“You should be a goodwill ambassador between your country and other countries, itna har waqt salman khan salman khan karti rehti ho..usse hi kuch seekhlo tum” reads another reply. But Indian fans liked her zeal and guts and praised her for ‘Dabangg’ act.

However, Sonakshi jee realized that she has hurt the sentiments of her fans from Pakistan, and asked them to take the tweeted image in good spirit: “Pak fans very upset. jung ke maidan mein ladne se toh accha hi hai khel ke maidan mein ladein! I am all for love thy neighbour. Be a sport yaar.”


But her last status update was not that positive either:” We have won. Bolti bandh”

This is what happens to people after winning the match. I don’t see any difference between her attitude & that of some Pakistanis. Even after upsetting her fans, she couldn’t help gloating about her victory. And what was the need of uploading that pic anyway? They had won the match. What was the bloody, fucking point?

An artist doesn’t have any boundary & Sonakshi jee has just proved otherwise. Moreover, she hasn’t bothered to learn anything from her father who has an open mind.

Amitabh Bachchan Keen To Watch Pak-India Semi Final

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog that he would not be going to Mohali to watch the Pakistan-India semi final. However, it seems that the cricket fever has taken its toll on the superstar.

He wrote again on his blog that he is keen to watch the match tomorrow because it has caused an 'unbelievable frenzy'.

He wrote on his blog:

'Pakistan is our neighbor. How we all wish that it were simple, warm in spirit and with togetherness!'

He mentioned that the entire country shall be coming to a stop while the match would be on. He feels the same would happen in Pakistan.

He said the stadium has been sold out. All the channels are talking about cricket. Nothing occupies anyone's conversation but the game.

So, we can see everybody, the rich and the poor, the stars and the fans are all thinking about tomorrow's match. May the best team win tomorrow!

Ekta’s Ragini MMS to have steamier love scenes

Ekta believes that sex scenes in Ragini MMS ought to be far more steamier than what we have witnessed so far as they are integral to the paranormal happenings in the story. But just don’t raise your expectations, cause we are invariably disappointed.

Young actors Rajkumar (last seen in the controversial bare-butt sex scene in LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA) and Kainaz Motivala (who played Tanya in WAKE UP SID) have been asked to re-shoot some intimate on-screen moments on April 3. Anyhow, it’s not big day for any of us. Both Raj Kumar & Kainaz are okay looking people.

Remarks Ekta, 'There's no intention to titillate. I don't want the chemistry between the actors to look contrived. The relationship between a beautiful Mumbai girl and an aggressive North-Indian boy needs to look believable and authentic.'

Vinay Pathak: Lara Dutta is most hot, sexy and intelligent

Filmmaker Shashant Shah's upcoming film Chalo Dilli is lately in news for its odd pairing - Vinay Pathak and Lara Dutta. I think it’s unusual but not that odd.

However, Vinay is highly ecstatic to have worked with Lara. 'I know I am not a commercial celebrity. It's a fantastic opportunity for me to work with somebody like Lara. I think she is a fabulous actor. Actually she is underused in the industry. She has done various kinds of roles and some really wonderful ones. But I still think the kind of talent she possess she hasn't been exploited enough. I am ecstatic about the fact that we came together on a platform to work in a film that has given ample opportunity to both of us to indulge in what we know the best and in the most creative, fun way,' says Vinay.

Well Vinay seemed quite impressed with Lara. However, Vinay is a much senior actor than Lara.

When asked if he felt awkward about the fact that he is being handled by a lady. He replied,

'No I didn't feel any awkward. I love women in power. They are very good at what they do. I think they are more efficient work wise and they are beautiful to look at, they are perfectionist,' quips Vinay and further says, 'The fact that Lara is such a wonderful actor and performer made the job of producer easy for her. I never looked at her as a producer because she was so immersed in her character and both of us really enjoyed the whole journey figuratively.'

Further praising Lara's competency as a producer Vinay says, 'Lara is very professional. Not just competent enough but also she doesn't have the commercial baggage of what we hear of this very typical image of commercial actor. She would always come on time, lots of time before me, which embarrassed me many a times and she was glued in to her job to the core. And this time she is playing a double role so she knew what was happening production wise as well as what was happening creatively.'

Vinay finds Lara very sexy, hot & intelligent & after working with Lara, she has become his favorite.

'Lara Dutta without doubt is most intelligent, sexy and hot actor in Bollywood. And I am not just saying because I am working with her. She of course is the most beautiful woman you would have ever seen. To my surprise when I got to know her, I came to know that she is one of the most well travelled woman. The greatest thing about her is that she knows about everything,' adds the fun loving actor.

Bipasha Is Out - Yana Is In Murder 2 Now

Well finally we are hearing some interesting news. Remember, when we last heard that Bipasha was asked by the Bhatt brothers to do an item song in Murder 2? Now there is some twist in the entire story.

If we look back, Bipasha Basu got her fame with movies like Jism and Raaz in which Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt gave her the much needed break. Anyhow, the real story is that the Bhatts first approached her to do Murder 2 but she refused to do the role because the story didn't revolve around her character. So, they decided to take Jacqueline Fernandez as a replacement.

Then, the Bhatt brothers offered Bipasha an item song in Murder 2 but instead of showing her gratitude to these guys, the actress asked for a very high compensation and started suggesting her choice of choreographers to them. According to insiders, this attitude of Bipasha Basu has really upset the Bhatt brothers.

Everybody in the industry knows that Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt are very price conscious because they want to make the best thing at a minimal cost.

Since, they were not going to take any of Bipasha's tantrums they opted to have Yana Gupta as the item girl in Murder 2. As it is, Yana has won the hearts of dance lovers through her performances in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

I guess this is a major negative for Bipasha Basu since she is hardly a renowned actress when it comes to ACTING. She barely knows how to dance as well. I feel the Bhatts' were doing her favor by all means when they were offering her both the role and then later the item song.

Anyhow, all this landed Yana Gupta in a favorable situation who would be more than happy to perform an item song for a Bhatt movie. Well, if it has to be an item song at the end of the day, the girl should at least know how to dance. So great choice Bhatt people...Yana Gupta as an item girl is much better any given day!

Southern actor Rana Daggubati who is going to make his Bollywood Debut in Dum Maari Dum says there is no truth in this rumor that he is in a relationship with Bipasha.
Rana posted this on his Twitter:

"I have immense respect for Bipasha as a co-star and it's embarrassing that people should think otherwise. Don't know where the rumors keep creeping up from over and over again!"

Rana is just 24 year old & he has been dating Shriya Saran for the past five years. Moreover, it has been reported that a rift has developed between Rana & Shriya, thanks to his closeness to Bipasha. And Bipasha is known for her closeness almost everywhere.

However, Daggubati has denied anything more than a friendship with Shriya. "Shriya has known me since I was in college. We've been great friends for over 8 yrs now. All other gossips are FALSE! (sic)," he added on the Twitter.

There Is Light For "Bloody Paki"

Some two years ago, Mani Ratnam wanted to make a film with Vivek Oberoi called "Bloody Paki". Bloody Paki was supposed to be an action thriller and the story revolved around the 2005 London terrorist attacks. However, the movie never saw the light of the day although there was a lot of talk going on between the choice of the leading lady.

Vivek though wanted to work in the project but he became busy in movies like Rakhtchakra. There were rumors of either Chitrangada Singh or Genelia D'Souza would take the female lead role. However, since the project never rolled all the buzz died down ultimately.

Since the plan is rolling once again, the pandora box has been opened too. It is being recalled that two years ago, Chitrangada was losing her grip in the industry and producers thought Genelia would be a better face to go with the movie.

Today, things are different as Chitrangada Singh has become the top favorite of a lot of filmmakers. Also, she has signed up projects with biggies like Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. So, there is immense demand for her. We will still have to wait to hear about the final choice of the leading lady. For now this is confirmed news that "Bloody Paki" will definitely hit cinemas soon.

Priyanka Is Nervous And Edgy These Days

The latest news about Priyanka Chopra is that she has stopped socializing completely. She has become quite recluse and wants to stay away from all the hustle bustle she is always handling. Not only this, she has also cancelled all her shoots.

The reason for all this isolation is her role in Anurag Basu's Barfi. Priyanka is very nervous to play the role of a mentally challenged girl. She has also asked everyone to make sure that nobody except the crew members to be present during the shoot. She wants maximum privacy to play this role.

She became all nervous and tense as her manager revealed, ever since she met the people who were suffering from mental conditions to study for her character in Barfi. Then she freaked out and stopped meeting her friends. She first had to adsorb the character and then prepare for it.

People close to her say that Priyanka has been tense and edgy for the last two weeks. Unlike her other roles where she has to get more aggressive to perform well, for Barfi she has to take the other route instead.

Well, I really had set my expectations really high with Priyanka when she was working in 7 Khoon Maaf. This time round, I will just wait and watch.

Abhi-Ash To Work In Ladies And Gentleman

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have decided to work together in Raj Kumar Sontoshi's romantic comedy - "Ladies and Gentleman".

A few years ago, she refused to work in Dostana because the female character chose to go with another man. She thought Abhi-Ash fans would not have liked that much. But the couple has worked in all sorts of movies over the years from Dhai Akshar Prem Ke to Raavan.

This is the first time, they will work in a romantic comedy where Abhishek will play the role of a hard core womanizer. Aishwarya does not mind Abhishek romancing other girls on screen in Ladies and Gentleman.

Raj Kumar Santoshi is happy to have Aishwarya in this movie because he offered this role to her five years ago also but it seems like it was in her destiny to play this character.

He said, this comedy takes him back to the genre of Andaz Apna Apna but here the humor is not going to be slapstick.
