Pyaar Aaya

This is not one of my favourites but I don't mind listening to it. I really liked Priyanka at that time. It won't be incorrect to say that once upon a time, she acted & she looked gorgeous. God knows what went wrong when she came in 7 Khoon Maaf. Ever since that movie, she has become over-rated & she acts like a little girl in every interview who can't help being fake. But she has always been fake in interviews.

Sanjay Dutt as usual has given his best shot to spoil the song.

Tuj ko dekhon mein, haq yeh mera hai - I totally agree with it but when gets tired eventually. Then what?

Nazar Nazar Mein Hale Dil Ka Pata Chalta Hai

This is one of my favourite songs. I find the lyrics really beautiful. It's so very true: 'Yeh baat sach hai dil pay zor kahan chalta hai.' I just hope you enjoy the song too.

It would have been so much better, if her make up had been a little better. In spite of that, she has done a superb job. And Veena Malik could learn a tip or two from her. One can do well in item songs without looking cheap & trashy.

However, I think Shilpa Shetty looks a bit over. Maybe she's too happy. And for once I like Sanjay Dutt.

Deepika Opts Out Of Race 2

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone has decided to opt out of Race 2, says a media report.

After shooting for four days, Deepika Padukone has opted out of Race 2. Her exit could not have been worse-timed, as it means more delays and hiccups for the Ramesh Taurani production.

This is the second high profile exit after Sonakshi Sinha walked out of the mega-cast project and was replaced by Jaqueline Fernandes.

A shocked Taurani now has the onerous task of finding a replacement, someone who can step into Deepika’s high heels opposite Saif Ali Khan.

A source close to Deepika explained that her walkout had a lot to do with the film’s ever-changing schedule.

“Deepika had issues with the dates. Moreover she was irritated by the constant change in the shooting schedule of the film.”

The makers of Race 2 starring Saif, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Amisha Patel and Jacqueline has had the Herculean task of juggling all the star dates. To top it all, Sanjay Dutt has just been added to the cast, adding to the list of busy actors.

“In a bid to accommodate all their dates, Deepika had to sacrifice her own. And Tips expected a commitment of 60 dates from her this year. Given that she had already committed dates to Ayan Mukherji, she was in no mood to rework her schedule again,” said the source, adding, “She didn’t want to be a part of the film anymore and walked out of the film.”

Mirror has learnt that Taurani tried his best to cajole the actress into continuing with the film.

Her co-star from Love Aaj Kal and Cocktail, Saif, too tried his best to convince her to stay on. But to no avail.

According to unconfirmed reports, she was also not happy sharing screen space with Jaqueline Fernandes.

But then that is another story. Despite repeated calls and text messages, both Deepika and Ramesh Taurani remained unavailable for comments.

Choli Ke Peechay - Khalnayak

Choli Ke Peechay is definitely an iconic song in every way. Though the movie Khalnayak was remarkable for its time but it was this song that stole the thunder.

I never liked Madhuri Dixit's dress and over all get up in this song personally. In fact, in some shots she kind of looks like a witch as well but having said all that, this is an unforgettable song.

Ila Arun and Alka lending their voices to this awesome song were a completely hit blend. Many people find this song way too cheap because they are using the word "choli" in it. The way our world is going, this one word is so insignificant.

I say this song has is full on entertainment over the decades and will remain so for times to come. Enjoy!

Ande Ka Funda - Jodi No. 1 (2001)

Today, I watched this super crazy, absolutely senseless but damn funny song from the movie Jodi No 1.  Although a huge audience considers Govinda to be a cheap actor but there are certain expressions and dance moves that only he can deliver.

Besides, I also feel that some of the most memorable music is that, which has some element of cheapness involved in it. In this particular song, I personally don't find anything cheap at all. It's a light, humorous song. Sanjay Dutt too looked cute doing Ande Ka Funda.

While listening and watching to this, I recommend leave your brains on the side for a few minutes.

Sholon Si - Shabd

Sholo Si Sholo Si from the movie Shabd is quite a sexy song. I believe the movie didn't do well but this was the first time I noticed that Aishwarya has some substance as far as acting is concerned.

I liked the intensity of the plot revolving around Aishwarya's writer husband played by Sanjay Dutt.
Well, for somebody having a beautiful, sexy wife such Aishwarya would definitely find her quite an aspiration for his writing and this movie was something about that.

Anyway, I really enjoy listening to this song and hope you'd like it too.

Sanjay Dutt's Devilish Look in Agneepath Remake

I saw the trailer of Agneepath remake and I definitely got a lil stuck on Sanjay Dutt's look since it is an absolute opposite of how Danny portrayed the role of Kancha seth in the orginal movie. Danny was such a smart villain, I could never forget his character ever.

Sanjay looks all dark and not that human to begin with. Reminds me of some cartoon character I watched ages ago.

I read some more and found out that this look of Sanjay Dutt is inspired by Marlon Brando's look from his movie Apocalypse (1979). It seems Sanjay did a lot justice in essaying the look barring the human/beastly difference between Marlon Brando and Sanjay Dutt.

Agneepath 2012 - Trailer

Here is the first look of Agneepath remake produced by Karan Johar starring Hrithik Roshan. My take on it is that I like it.

Hrithik looks ab fab undoubtedly. Sanjay Dutt is dark and devilish like never before and I am liking it for a change. I do like Rishi Kapoor as well in the trailer. I will reserve my comments for Priyanka till I will watch the movie cause she can disappoint her fan often.

All in all, I am not comparing it with the original and will take it as a new movie with an old name.

Bewafa Bar - Hathyar

Now this song from Hathyar is a typical drunken guys song. Either the drunk men are crying or they are telling the world to enjoy life. This song definitely falls in the second category. Here Sanjay Dutt suggests people should give a flying fuck to the whole world and visit BEWAFA BAR.

I like the light tone to it. It is not a heavy and sad alcohol songs. Sanjay Dutt is looking handsome. And the dancers in Bewafa Bar look funny with their quick moves.

Enjoy!

Nazar Nazar Mein - Hathyar

I feel this particular song by Asha Bhosle is quite sexy and the lyrics are hot. The girl has a nice body but I just don't like her make up much and I think Hathyar is one of the last few movies in which Sanjay Dutt looked really nice.

Ashish Chowdhry As A Sexy Woman

Ashish Chowdhry has received lots of praise from his friends and fans for this new look of his. Ashish had to tone down his very macho body for his role in 'Double Dhamaal'.

Ashish is playing multiple characters in the movie and for one of the characters he will be seen portraying this sexy woman trying to seduce Sanjay Dutt. Since Ashish himself has an impressive macho body, he and the director decided that he should tone down his body to look like a sexy chic.

I think, Ashish looks pretty sweet from the face in the women get up though his body does look quite broad even now. But compared to all the other men who portrayed female characters, he definitely stands out in a positive way.

Others in the cast include, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukj, Javed Jafri, Mallika Sherawat, Kangna Ranaut and Satish Kaushik.

Sanjay Dutt Is Not Angry With Aishwarya Rai

Sanjay Dutt is a bit upset with media on creating false stories that he is upset with Aishwarya Rai.

Recently, he noted some publications wrote that Sanjay was angry with Aishwarya Rai because she has not given him a concrete answer about being part of his remake of 'Satte Pe Satta'.

Sanjay Dutt, however, clarified that somebody is trying to create problems between him and the Bachchans with such stories.

For him they are like family and he does want Aishwarya to be a part of his remake but he is not upset with her. He can wait for her response calmly.

Well, this is all fine but why are they not making new and original stuff anymore. I am tired of remakes and silly sequels already.

Hrithik Roshan Got Hurt While Shooting For Agneepath Remake

Hrithik Roshan has started shooting for Agneepath's remake, which is being produced by Dharma productions. In the remake version, Hrithik will play the role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan and Sanjay Dutt will play the role of Kaancha Seth.

The original movie was a box office hit and won many best actor awards for Amitabh Bachchan and supporting actor awards for Mithun Chakraborty in 1990.

When it was announced that Hrithik would be playing the new Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, Abhishek Bachchan suffered from a fit of jealousy. He even hinted his dismay on Koffee with Karan in a so called cool way. Perhaps, he feels he is the only one who can portray the roles his father has done.

Karan Johar made is clear that the remake will have quite a few different things like there is going to be no character of Mithun Chakraborty and a few other things will change too but the crux of the story will remain the same.

Hrithik was busy shooting in Versova for he filmm and he accidentally hurt himself while acting in a scene where he was breaking a coconut on the ground. His had was bleeding and there was a deep cut. The shoot was stopped till Hrithik was given first aid.

An opportunist senior unit member who was there when the little accident took place expressed his emotions that do not consider it sadistic pleasure but it is a superstition that whenever any actor is injured and bleeds on the sets, the film turns out to be a super hit.

Perhaps this man was trying to please Karan Johar. I don't think the superstition is that true. Remember Amitabh Bachchan's film Koolie...the man ended up with major health problems but the movie was not a hit.

Ram Gopal To Cast Kangna & Abhishek Together

Ram Gopal Varma was quite impressed to see Kangna Ranaut's amazing performances in movies like Gangster and Woh Lamhe. He always wanted to cast her in his movie but in a meaningful and important role.

So, it has been confirmed that Kangna will work in Ram Gopal's next dark action drama - 'Department'. He will cast her opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Yes, they were already working together, though not as a couple in GAME but this time round Kangna will play the role of Abhishek's wife.

Department is a story about three cops who want to do extra constitutional activities to maintain the safety of the society. Hmmm, this doesn't sound like such a new idea.

Anyway, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek are the three cops. Kangna is the only lady in the movie and her role is intense and significant in the sense that she is the only person with whom Abhishek will be able to talk about his agony.

I always knew Kangna Ranaut's time will come and it seems that it has arrived now with all the biggies casting her in their projects!

The Cops Spoilt Kangna's Birthday Party

Kangna's birthday bash was being celebrated in her Bandra house. She tried to celebrate her 24th birthday in a big way but the party was spoilt in many ways.

Firstly, a lot of big celebs didn't turn up on her birthday bash like Sanjay Dutt and Manyata Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Hrithik Roshan and Ekta Kapoor.

Next, the cops busted in at the complaint of Kangna's neighbor and the party lost its tempo. This was very similar to what happened at Shahid's birthday bash too a while ago.

However, Kangna was more than happy to see Salman Khan who dropped by quite late to wish her on birthday.

Rascals stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Kangna feature in Salman Khan's Ready

Salman recently invited Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt & Kangna. They are playing the lead in David Dhawan’s Rascals. While they were shooting for Rascals in Pattaya, they got a call from Sallu bhai. He wanted them to do a cameo in Anees Bazmee’s Ready in Bangkok. Naturally all 3 of them agreed as no one says no to Salman Khan…of course when he requests someone nicely.

No wonder friendship in Bollywood is as famous as enmities & grudges.

Arjun Rampal leaves for Bangkok to do cameo in Rascals

Arjun Rampal has left for Bangkok to do a 20-day cameo for the movie Rascals. Arjun has become lately a little choosy about his roles. At this point in his career, he doesn’t want to do cameo. In fact, he was in two minds about this project, but Sanjay Dutt convinced him to work as the role has specially been written keeping in mind Arjun Rampal. This also gives him an opportunity to work with David Dhawan.

Says a source, "Although Arjun was tempted to work with David Dhawan for the first time, the last thing he wanted do was to get into the cameo space again. Repeatedly, filmmakers have put Arjun in the cameo space with the promise of bigger roles later. Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar had given Arjun walk-on parts in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd. These led to sizeable parts in We Are Family and Rock On. But now Arjun is done with cameos."

Just before flying out to Bangkok on Monday night, Arjun said, "Yes I finally agreed to do Rascals. I always wanted to work with David Dhawan. And it is Sanjay Dutt's first production. So all the more special. I've about twenty days work. However, cameos as a rule are not what I'm looking for in my career right now."

Arjun is also looking forward to his Ra. One in which he is the main antagonist. "I've played the bad guy successfully in Om Shanti Om. Even Raajneeti had shades of grey. So there's no apprehension about acceptability as a villain. At the end of the day, a good role is a good role, black or white or grey. I'm happy with the way my career has shaped up."

The main stars in Rascals are Ajay Devgan & Sanjay Dutt & it’s the 1st time Arjun will be working with David Dhawan.

Arjun Rampal has taken too many small roles & he has always done justice to his character. You can never ignore him. He does it so well. You notice him more than the other stars. He even looks better than females & I don’t think it’s an exaggeration. I’m amazed that he’s still been given such small roles. This guy besides being good-looking is also a remarkable actor. And he is, by all means, one of the best models I’ve ever seen.

Both Manyata and Priya Dutt seemed quite cordial unlike many speculations made that the two are not on talking terms.

Tees Maar Khan - Detailed Movie Review

My sister has already written a review...this is the one I had written.

2010 ended with the release of a much talked about movie, Tees Maar Khan which is Farah Khan’s third venture as a director after Main Hoon Naa and Om Shanti Om. The story is written by Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder

In Tees Maar Khan, we can see Akshay Kumar (Tabrez Mirza Khan or Tees Maar Khan) as a very smart, fearless and shameless con artist who is one of the most wanted criminals of all times. He steals whatever he wants to and whenever he likes and he claims that it is impossible to keep Tees Maar Khan behind bars because he will escape anyway.

Tees Maar Khan, is hired by another pair of international smugglers, the Johri Brothers to rob antiques worth 500 crores from a heavily guarded moving train. The movie is about the challenging and almost impossible task that Tees Maar Khan has to accomplish and how he wins the hearts of many even while doing something wrong.

Other important characters of the movie are Katrina Kaif (Anya Khan) who plays the role of a wanna be actress and Akshaye Khanna (Atish Kapoor) who is a famous Bollywood superstar but who is desperate to get an Oscar Award.

All in all, the movie is fun and an extremely light entertainment. If you want to watch a movie that doesn’t require you to use your brains at all, you can view it with ease. Otherwise, it is fast paced and quite loud throughout. It is obvious, that Akshay Kumar and Akshaye Khanna were the only two people who acted well consistently throughout the film. Katrina didn’t have to work too hard and had to act a silly, dumb girl with an over accent – all of which comes naturally to her. Other characters such as the two police officers who were chasing Tees Maar Khan, the Johri Brothers, the Police Commissioner and Baweja (Atish Kapoor’s Manager) delivered their part nicely. While Tees Maar Khan’s gang Soda, Burger and Dollar were quite irritating most of the time and not necessarily funny as they tried to be.

Some of the funniest scenes were when Akshay Kumar saved the people in a flying plane by opening the cock pit and the passengers in the plane went crazy thanking him. While Akshaye Khanna performed a silly dance move whenever he felt he was a bit closer to his dream to win an Oscar was entertaining too. Also, the chaotically made and abruptly ending movie (Bharat Ka Khazana) that Akshay Kumar made within the movie while trying to steal the antiques was surprisingly fun. The half after the intermission was definitely more entertaining.

Shiela Ki Jawani and the title song Tees Maar Khan are quite catchy. Shiela Ki Jawani is already quite a hit amongst people so not much needs to be said about it. Farah also had quite a few guest stars in the movie such as Anil Kapoor and Chunkey Pandey while Sanjay Dutt delivered the opening narration in the movie and her friend Salman Khan who also did a male bonding song “Wallah Re Wallah” with Akshay Kumar.

Though Shahrukh Khan ended up ruining his friendship with Farah Khan for the role that Akshay Kumar played in Tees Maar Khan, but after watching the movie, people would agree that Akshay was the best choice for the role as he pulled it off in a perfect way. Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Naa is perhaps her finest works so far if one analyzes all her films. However, Tees Maar Khan has had a good start at the box office although it is not that great a film but audience is loving it for one reason or the other. For a light entertainment, one can watch it once at least.
