Imran Khan and Others Do Not Support The New Drinking Law

Imran Khan has decided to file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the government as he does not favor the new law in Maharashtra that has increased the alcohol consumption age to 25.

He said that he does not aim to endorse drinking amongst the youth but he feels the law is against the right of freedom. He finds it absurd that one can vote or marry at the age of 18 and 21 but cannot decide if one can drink or not.

Imran is not ,alone from the film fraternity who is against the new law. Even Amitabh Bachchan, Minissha Lamba, Sonam Kapoor and Aamir Khan have spoken against it.

Big B tweeted his opinion: ‘On drinking age limit increased to 25! Err…old and mature enough to vote for the country, or join army...and fight for the nation…but not old and mature enough to be told when you are allowed t drink??? Strange?!!! (sic).’

Well, I am with these guys on this one. It is strange to dictate when one can drink when people can vote, get married and do so much more at the age of 18. Does not make any sense. Looks like an intentional act to piss off people.

Imran Khan has been in the industry for three years but till now he has not hit the jackpot although he has the guidance of his perfectionist mamu - Aamir Khan.

Imran made his debut under Aamir Khan's banner in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa. Although he can act well, he has not received amazing roles nor great appreciation so far. Thus, Aamir Khan has taken a lot of interest in ensuring that nothing goes wrong for Imran in Delhi Belly.

People have always anticipated and badly waited for Imran and Aamir to share screen space together and now it is happening. For the first time, Mamu and Bhanja will be seen in Delhi Belly's promo. This is the first time, Aamir Khan has worked in any promo for his production ventures. It shows he is going out of the way to support Imran and wants to turn the tables.

Aamir was so cautious about everything that he himself directed the promo. Apparently, the promo will be a funny one with Aamir playing the role of a producer only and he will be introducing the actors of the movie - Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor. The promo is a funny, verbal exchange between all the four men.

I have seen bits of the movie and Imran Khan looks interesting in Delhi Belly for the moment. The movie will be released on 1st July, 2011.

First Look - 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'

This is the first look of "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" starring Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan and Pakistani singer, Ali Zafar.

The movie is a Yash Raj film. The story is about the upper middle class families of North India, in which Imran Khan ends up falling in love with his brother's would be wife. The romantic comedy will be released on September 8th.

Imran's surprise on-screen seduction

When it comes to intimate scenes, Imran Khan is not Emraan Hashmi. I think the entire world knows this, but both of them are gentlemen. However, in his new venture ‘Short Term Shaadi’ we hear there is an intimate scene & he’s not the one seducing the woman. In fact he’s the one who is being seduced.

Imran plays a neat freak in the movie. This particular seduction scene happens on a date with a hottie played by Soniya Verma. But what happens is more hilarious than romantic.

Soniya’s character wants to get close to Imran, but he just can’t get his mind off the fact that they’re in a bathroom that could be crawling with germs. So while Soniya cosies up to him, Imran just can’t wait to get away. It all ends, apparently, with Imran actually using a shower spray to get away from Soniya!
