Ranveer's Women In Ladies vs Ricky Bahl

Ranveer Singh has become one of the most promising new comers of Hindi Cinema. His first film Band Baaja Baraat was loved by the audience and was a box office hit. Anushka Sharma and Ranveer's jodi and it's interesting chemistry captivated the masses and classes.

Now we do know that the two are coming together in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl - a movie in which Ranveer is a charming conman Ricky who cons girls for a living till he meets the girl he falls in love with.

However, the ladies play an important part too in the movie. Anushka Sharma is the leading woman. Then we got to know that Priyanka Chopra's cousin Parineeti Chopra is playing the role of another girl. Now the third lady has also been announced and it is model turned actress Dipannita Sharma. Dipannita is playing the role of a no nonsense corporate executive who will be charmed by Ricky Bahl too.

Ranveer and the ladies will start working for the movie in April and the movie will be released in Dec.

Who Does Ranveer Idolize

Ranveer Singh is one of the newest heart throbs in Bollywood. Girls are going crazy after him ever since Band Baja Baraat was released. The movie was a hit and Ranveer was appreciated for his performance immensely. There was a lot of buzz around his involvement with Anushka Sharma but both the actors denied such reports through out.

The funny thing is that they never admitted that they were going and nor were there many stories about them like those of Ranbir or Katrina people. Ranveer and Anushka always seemed good and close friends till now and even they are together they don't want to discuss it with the world. However, media now thinks they broke up. This is what the media is promoting today.

Anyway, when Ranveer Singh came on Koffee with Karan he candidly said that he always admired Kareena Kapoor the most. He thinks Kareena is the most gorgeous actress in Hindi cinema. Ranveer confessed that he idolized her from his teenage days!

The winning team of Band Baaja Baaraat - Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh is back!

After the heartwarming success of BAND BAAJA BAARAAT, director Maneesh Sharma is back with his team, in Yash Raj Films' next offering LADIES V/S RICKY BAHL.

Starring Ranveer Singh, who has won everyone's heart with his endearing and scintillating performance, as well as the Best Actor (Debut) at all the award shows this year, and the accomplished and charismatic Anushka Sharma, the film is produced by Aditya Chopra and is based on a story developed by him. Habib Faisal has written the dialogues, the screenplay is by Devika Bhagat.

The music will be composed by Salim-Sulaiman, lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the film will be shot by Aseem Mishra (DOP), all of whom have been a part of BAND BAAJA BAARAAT.

LADIES VS RICKY BAHL is a fun-filled rom-com where a smooth and charming conman, Ricky Bahl, cons girls for a living but finally meets his match.

The film starts shooting early-April with plans to be in theatres worldwide on 9th December 2011, the same weekend BAND BAAJA BAARAAT released.

Are Anushka & Ranveer in love?

The 2 people ought to be concerned about this particular question may not be all that excited about it. And even if 2 people are going out together that does mean they are in love. But the media wants everyone to be in love. It's just that Anushka & Ranveer don't give them the opportunity to make juicy & cheap headlines like Katrina & Ranbir.

Anushka even said to the journalists that her personal life has nothing to do with anyone. However, they can inquire about her work.

As usual, both of Ranveer & Anushka maintained that they are good friends.

However recently, Anushka was sharing her thoughts when she revealed that Ranveer is right now absorbed about his career and has no time for other things. She also added that she needs someone who can give her enough time.

The 56th Filmfare Awards have of course taken place. Udaan, it seemed was the limelight of the night. I am happy that Ronit Roy won the Best Supporting Actor Award. That is the only happy news for me because I really like this guy and his acting skills were quite obvious ever since I saw him playing the role of Mr. Bajaj in Kasauti Zindagi Ki. The man has struggled for the longest time and in Udaan his acting outshines everybody else's performance.

Apart from that it was quite obvious that sifarshi Sonaksi Sinha would win the Best Female Debut award while Ranveer Singh would take the Best Male Debut award. Although Dabangg did take 5 awards, it was clearly Udaan's night. Salman Khan couldn't get the Best Actor award and lost it to his ex-best friend Shahrukh Khan who got it for his exceptional acting in My Name Is Khan. What majorly disappointed me and may be a few others was that Kajol out of nowhere won the Best Female Award for her very regular performance in My Name Is Khan. I think this time round Vidya Balan totally deserved an award for Ishqiya. 

And yes Kareena Kapoor also got a Supporting Actress Award for a very ridiculous and unnecessary movie - We Are Family.
